I'm going to try to be better about posting regularly because there are going to be a lot of photoshoots happening in October, and I really want to highlight all the amazing people I am going to work with.
To kick things off, I was contacted by Justin Hardigree, a local Athens photographer, to collaborate on some photos a few months ago. My schedule was crazy doing weddings and editing throughout the week, so we didn't have a chance to get together until recently. We were finally able to meet up and hang out a couple of days ago to discuss what kind of pictures we wanted to create. His fiancée, Kelly Caudell, came along to scope out locations for the photoshoot we've been wanting to do, and while we were walking around Sandy Creek Nature Center, she mentioned that she was shooting her friend's engagement pictures later that evening and asked if I wanted to come along with her and Justin. I agreed to help out and man, am I glad that I came.
I told Justin and Kelly about this spot at the State Botanical Gardens in Athens that is just magical during sunset (I will gladly share its location if you are interested in shooting there as well.) With the fall weather slowly rolling in and the sun setting in the back, it is truly a great spot to shoot. Below are some of the photos I took of Kelly's newly-engaged friends, Madison and Zach.
It's amazing how the same subjects can be captured by three different photographers. To see how different our pictures turned out, go check out Justin's work at:
